challenge

many photos were taken when my uncle visited me in 2008 and we struggled with carrying his wheelchair across the city.. so when we finally reached the icons, the satisfaction turned into something else. Pretty much a challenge from the 'metropolis'.

I gave myself a £30 budget. I had help for one hour when the shooting started. I sent a message to her 'help me' and she entered in the next minute/just like that. My lovely and talented assistant, Kristina Gencaite was helping me out when I needed to move the light and the camera at the same time. Thank you :) I edited the film to 5 minutes and will probably upload it to one of the online video communities. I'll let you know.

I had 2 days to set the scene and film it.
The sound of ticking was all over the room. It sounded unearthly.

this installation created a very special athmosphere.
